At Academia.edu, I led product design for over 10 AI-powered premium features, shaping experiences that helped researchers and academics connect, publish, and grow their audience. My work combined design strategy with hands-on execution, and shaped through testing and iteration. I partnered with engineering and product teams to improve subscription conversion, increase retention, and to build tools that made advanced research more accessible.
I also developed internal AI workflows that automated UI prototyping and marketing copywriting, ensuring faster output while maintaining consistency across voice and brand.
Reactivating at Scale: Designing a High Impact Email Journey
To reduce churn and re-engage inactive users, I designed an email reactivation campaign grounded in behavioral insights and iterative testing. The result was a streamlined, narrative-driven flow that clearly communicated value, rebuilt trust, and encouraged return visits.
